Hi there, friends! Is it really May already?!
We all stay SO busy these days that I know you probably only have 10 seconds right now to peruse this newsletter -- and of course it's choc-o-block full of awesome design tips, delicious recipes, and fun style ideas from our team here at Willow House! (So, take a sec right now and flag this email -- come back to it often to enjoy a little bit at a time!)
I've been thinking about what design or style tip or technique that I want to highlight for you this month, and with our new Jewelry Catalog hitting the newsstands AND the chance for you to earn up to $600 in Free Jewelry this May, I thought that it would be helpful to acquaint you with some of the terminology that describes some of our beautiful new Sara Blaine collections.
We like to keep you not only surprised with each new catalog but also on trend, so we’ve kept our spring jewelry catalog exciting and fresh by introducing some great new materials. One of my favorites is our new Vermeil pieces. Pronounced “vermay,” this simply means a base of sterling silver coated on all surfaces with a heavy layer of gold. It was news to me, but this layering process has been around for ages! The fashion-savvy French developed the process in the mid 19th century, so it’s no wonder the end result is a beautiful, vibrant, golden finish.
Our new Zara, Chloe, and Boho collections are gorgeous examples of this metal-layering technique. You can search them on my website for a closer look. The items in these collections are extremely popular right now -- especially with the younger crowd -- so definitely consider one of these keepsakes as a Graduation gift for someone special.
Vermeil is used on everything from jewelry, to vases to flatware. Oh! And fun fact: The White House even has a collection of vermeil tableware in the famous vermeil room. Hey, if it’s good enough for The White House, it’s good enough for the Willow House, right?
I can’t want to share the intriguing info behind our new Agate bead collection with you next month!
An exciting aside - In less than 8 weeks I will be packing my bags and heading to Playa del Carmen on an all-expense paid, all-inclusive Paradisius Resort destination with who else but Willow House!! It took a lot of hard work and determination to earn this free vacation, but I guarantee that I will be thinking of each and every one of my incredible customers - YOU - who made this possible for me. I promise to post lots and lots of photos upon my return!! Thank you for your continued business and support, especially during these tough economic times.
Please always remember that if you see a piece you love but might not be able to afford at this moment in time, it is perfectly acceptable and surprisingly beneficial to gather your friends and be a Host of your very own Willow House designer party, whether it be for Home Décor or Jewelry. You will not regret the chance to spend time with your girlfriends and get that piece you are eyeing up at a great price … or even Free!
Enjoy the hints and tips in this month’s newsletter, and as always, I love hearing from you – feel free to contact me at anytime with any questions or just to chat! Happy May, and Happy Mother’s Day to all of those special women who have made our precious lives possible!
Warmly,
Courtney
